Enough talking in the third person for trendy loglines. Hi, I’m Grant McLravy. I’m a nerd who loves playing with computers. I especially love connecting systems to other systems – seeing the interactions between one system to another. My current obsession is creating the ultimate home server.
I’m a fan of video games that tell stories, particularly first person RPGs. Personal favorites: Fallout, Cyberpunk 2077, Portal, Half-Life, Prey 2017, The Outer Worlds, Horizon Zero Dawn, etc.
I love film as a storytelling medium. As a high-schooler, I was absolutely sure I would pursue filmmaking as a career. However, as I grew older I found that film was more of a hobby while technology took the forefront.
I have a B.S. in Accounting but my true passion is computer systems. I could have discovered that before spending years studying journal entries, but hey, you live and you learn, right?
